Sketching by the Sea 🌊

Captured at Gloucester Road tube station - I just LOVED the goose jumper #londoners #people #illustration #mixedmedia #goodshipillo

Birds Birds. Such funny things #roughsketch #illustration #sketchbook #ink #walktosee #goodshipillo

I saw these sheep when visiting Yorkshire on the bank holiday. I loved the way they were staring at me and gathering in a gang of attitude. Lucky we didn’t have cocker with us or that would have shattered the illusion. And the gang😂 #sheep #yorkshiredales #watercolour #illustration #walktosee #goodshipillo

Cats and chickens. A curious combination. When I was a teenager we had five cats, many chickens and a few ducks. It was a busy garden. I’m not sure who annoyed who more but they all muddled along together #menagerie #gouache #kidlitillustration #illustration #ink #memorymining

I love this door, it looked all cosy behind it, lamp lit and inviting. I used a simple palate for this, blue, orange and white. Watercolour and a bit of coloured pencil for detail #door #watercolour #illustration #sketchbook #goodshipillustration

New shoes. Memory mining @thegoodshipillustration #washandlineinwatercolor #picturebooks #newshoes #illustration #kidlit
